Kintsugi Art Set: Moon Jar
Wholeness does not always take the same form.

Four gold foil stickers that you piece together to form a moon jar.  This set draws together two traditions.

Kintsugi (金継ぎ) is the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold, allowing its fractures to remain visible as part of the object's history and beauty. Moon jars are Korean ceramic vessels known for their softly rounded forms and asymmetry, shaped by hand. Traditionally made in two halves and joined at the centre, each carries subtle irregularities that make no two quite the same.

Join them on the cotton cardstock to complete the moon jar, arrange them differently, or use each fragment on its own in a journal, notebook or letter.

A moment of making for yourself, something to keep and display. Or a considered gift for someone, with space on the back for a handwritten message.
