ABOUT ME

I am a qualified lawyer, no longer practising, and a former baseball player.

I have always been drawn to pearls and in awe of nature. Pearls are nature's organic gem. They are never loud; they glow softly in the sun and like the moon when night falls. Gentle strength and steadiness.

That same pull led me to gemstones. I now travel to Sri Lanka and Bangkok to source stones in person, one at a time, looking for the ones that make me stop: an unusual colour, an interesting form, a character of their own. Every piece begins with a stone worth noticing.

Each piece takes time to design, source and make, with a lot of love and plenty of trial and error, to create something that delights and serves a purpose at the same time.

I hope each piece reminds the wearer of a sense of "I am": to always be kind to yourself and hold gentle strength.
